We are witnessing a long-awaited awakening of the general public to the existence of racism in its many forms and to the harm it causes.
We are on the precipice of deep change.
At Family Matters, we remain committed to our mission to partner with youth and families to address and overcome structural racism and systemic oppression to build an equitable society.

Family Matters stands with our community in a call to action.
Our next steps toward equity begin with working with our youth, families, community, and organizational partners to create reform and to engage our local officials in enacting these changes.
We have an immense opportunity to create this new paradigm – through our individual actions and collectively as a nation. Now.
We are rising. We shall prevail. Our future depends on it.
