In the early ‘90s, Tabitha Williams joined Family Matters as a member of the then “Sisters of Struggle” teen girls program. From there, she went to Iowa State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality.

More than 20 years later, Tabitha has come full circle and is now the Development Director of Family Matters, giving other young people in her old neighborhood the same opportunities and experiences she enjoyed as a teen. Socially, Tabitha enjoys trying out new restaurants and bars in Chicago.
